I want to be straight with you about how this site makes money, because trust is the whole point.
Some of the links on MagnesiumGuide are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a product, I may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra; the price is the same whether you use my link or not. These commissions help cover the cost of researching and running the site.
My promise
Commissions do not decide what I recommend. I choose products on their actual merits (the form of magnesium, the elemental dose, third-party testing, and value for money) not on which retailer pays the most. When the evidence for a use is weak, I say so, even on a page that carries affiliate links. If I wouldn’t suggest a product to a friend, it doesn’t go on the site.
What I’ve taken, and what I haven’t
Product cards on this site come in two kinds, and the card itself tells you which you’re looking at.
Products I take myself carry a photo of my own bottle, and in some cases a review written after months of use. Anything I say about how those feel to take is firsthand.
The rest I haven’t taken. They’re listed because one option isn’t a choice, and because a reader in Australia shouldn’t be steered towards a US direct order when a cheaper route exists. Those cards are plainer, carry no photo, and sit under a heading saying I haven’t tried them. For those, all I can give you is what’s on the label: the form, the elemental dose, the cost per day. Whether one suits you is a different question and I’m not in a position to answer it.
Where these links appear
Affiliate links show up mainly in the “Top Picks” and product-recommendation sections, and occasionally within articles where a specific product is relevant. I aim to keep editorial content and product recommendations clearly distinguishable.
